Besides our team members, our biggest asset is the genetics that we have access to. We are the only company worldwide to have access to more than 130 landraces and close to 300 hybrids. This is a huge collection that we can work with. The advantage of working with landraces is that the best parts are more present and active in the plant. We always have access to the foundation of the genepool and will simply produce a better product from there.

Such a big collection means that we have access to the foundation of the genepool and are able to breed with genetics that actually come from the continent (latitude) where they originated. The plants will be stronger and more resistant against “local” diseases, bugs, and climate. Growing a plant originally found just below a snowy mountain is hard to grow in the desert, and vice versa.

We own a large collection of other genetics that have been collected over the last 40 years. We use some of these plants as a biological defense to reduce or eliminate the use of pesticides.
